Gone AWOL

Sorry I have been for weeks, I've been too busy this month, as our hired help left and also left us with too many problems caused by her. And also it's my sister's wedding next month, I'll try too keep up!

We also had a reunion yesterday. Additional chores of course! Since we had it at home, and we are the hosts.

My Nephew's 2nd Bday

Last May 10 was my nephew's 2nd bday and alsp my James' 7th bday which I have been celebrating without him sice he is with my ex-husband when he was still 2. I hate goin down the memory lane so.... I just wanna share my nephew's bday. Warning: Pics Overload!

A Week Vacay At Home..?!

Day 1 of my babysitting days and chores and cooking and laundry and I dunno what else! I started off by cleaning my room in which I will be staying. Then we ate lunch. Skype with my family back in the US, had a glimpse of what we will be getting by this month or early June when they come home. But for now, Skype2x lang!


By 3pm we bought turon from the market, it's like 20 steps from our house. Yes, I can smell the fishy smells from here! Tsk. And we had iced tea. Yum!

I did a mani using stamp again.Used 2 coats of SanSan Amethyst for the base color (it's a deep purple). Stamped using hello kitty image plate with SanSan French White. Applied 2 coats of Maybelline Express Finish Luau Lavender.

True Colors

I've always wondered how some people can keep up their pretenses for a very loooong time. I mean, can they live with that? Living in an act? I feel bad for the people around them that don't know who they really are.

 Anyway, I did a colorful mani to lighten my mood and before I log off for the day.

I used 3 Diffi Nail Polish Super Shine Colour (neons in orange, yellow ang green), they don't have names, sorry. And Kiss Nail Art in Bikini Pink.

I added dots with diiferent colors.

Fun Party

I just had to try the crackles so I bought them with me for a little trip. I took some pics while seating on the frontseat. Haha! I ALWAYS put my feet up near the window, so excuse the unsightly view.^^

Happy Birthday To A Little Man

Today is a very special day for someone I know. It's his birthday! Will be very busy with the preparations, as we are now lacking members in the house, my siblings just arrived in California to visit my Mom.

He really loves Plants versus Zombies so much that I tried looking for PvsZ cakes or giveaways. NO avail though, it's hard when you're hometown is soooo little that it's not up to date with stuff like that.

I was thinking of doing a PvsZ mani but I find it so haaaaard!T_T

But I went on with it, and here are the pics.

Not-So-Wrong Polish

Okay, I am looong overdue with my Smartbro payment, so I had to ask someone to pay it for me since I can't go. And also, make another payment for my order online. Aaannd, buy new polish from HBC. I asked for Sansan and he bought French White.. was to buy Perfect Pink too but bought Caronia (Frost) Pink Platinum instead. I dunno what is THE wrong with him, not following a simple instruction. Sigh!

So anyway, I had to make do with what he bought me.

Get Free Ipod Touch Apps Without Credit Card

So, my bro's Itouch got fixed and I kinda borrowed it from him since he's currently in Cebu (summer school). And the Facebook and Skype Apps are not working. My sister said we can't update the apps without credit card since the credit card we used before is already expired! We don't have our Mom's current credit card, tsk! As if she'd give it anyway.

New Stuff

So I was just eating my lunch yesterday when my online orders arrived from Sheliane / Awesome Nails.Thanks! Till next time Sheliane!^^

 I quickly rush upstairs and ripped the parcel haha!^^

Got my 2 nail wheels, 10 clear acrylic nail tips, a fauxnad plate and 10 free water decals. So I just spent the rest of the day making nail designs, same thing as I'm doing now. I just didn't had the time to blog about it last night coz I was not feeling well. I was having palpitations, dizziness and cold sweats. I just had to go to bed early and tossed and turned until I was so tired that I dozed off. I am feeling a lil better but not better, better. So sad...

Anyway, when I finished with my nail wheel, I'll take pics and post it here. Some are recreated and some are original. Hehe! I wish I can make money out of this "expensive" hobby!^^

Okay, so back to bed rest... T_T

Happy Birthday Pa!

It's my Dad's birthday today. Right when I woke up, with one eye open, I texted to greet him a Happy Birthday!^^ Happy Birthday Papa Ed Lee! Good health and longevity!^^

He will be having lechon, balbacua, dinuguan (chocolate meat haha), kanding (goat), chicken, fish, and I dunno what else!

Too bad I can't be there! Huhuhu! T_T Most of my siblings are there, good for them, since they're leaving for the US for this summer to join my Mom .Eat all you can Filipino foods before leaving!^^

I'll just wait for my share though, will probably starve myself till the food gets  here! So, more room for the lechon! Haha! ^^

Oh, I took this pic of my nails last night.. I did stamping. I used SanSan's Tropical Lemon for the base color, SanSan's Red Gleam and Blue Sapphire for the stamping. This didn't last though, had to get rid of it after putting them on. I just had to cut my nails, hehe.^^

Practicing until my Mom's US haul gets here! I can't wait for the OPI Katy Perry Collection (mad about the colors and the crackle polish), Seche Vite and Nail Envy (OMG! finally) and also a bunch of BundleMonster plates!^^ Which will probably gets here by May (if my sister comes home ahead of them) or June (when all of them comes home for my another sister's wedding). Tsk! Counting the days...weeks... Sigh!

Hired Help Woes

We had this hired helps since July 2010. And until now, they still don't know s**t around the house! For months we remind them how to go about the chores inside and outside the house, how to take care of toddlers, no cooking really required since my Dad do most of the cooking, they just cook rice and fry eggs and hotdogs, , but still, they are deaf to lessons. They are constantly talking on their cellphones, even if we told them they should do that when there is no chores to be done. They're unkempt, don't know how to keep the house clean unless any one of us tell them where and what to clean. Also, they go out at night (to my Aunt's karaoke bar) without properly asking any one of us. We can't kick them out yet since they owe us a hefty 2 - 3 months cash advance. Until then, we're stuck with constant headaches.

Read Me

Woke up early (around 7:30am), ate breakfast (eggs and eggs and more eggs.. eek), and of course, another mug of Energen cereal drink. Facebook, Blog, Cityville, Cafe World, Youtube, hmm, Pocoyo World (loz).

I decided to do the newspaper nails today, which I saw from Confessions of a Polishaholic. I tried last time but it was major fail. So, trial and error begin, hehe^^

While waiting for lunch, I just painted my nails with Cloudy Gray by SanSan. Let them dry while eating something called "hipon" (it's like a bunch of teeny weeny fish) with beaten egg. And another mug of Energen, hehe^^

So while digesting and checking out my Cityville, I transferred the newspaper prints by dipping my nails onto the alcohol and putting strips of nespaper on each of my nails. 20 seconds pass by and I removed them and viola! Put Fingr's Top Coat and I'm done...

Still needs to practice though.. T_T

Okay, so lemme do my other hand now...
